19.01.2012 – My first show of 2012 I kick off at the Ancienne Belgique with Mastadon’s raw metal power. Bringing a mix of new songs form their latest albumg The Hunter, Mastodon confirms one thing: that they are the greatest metal band of their generation.

2011 has been a year of change for everyone, Campus included. I caught up with them a few weeks ago. It’s never easy dealing with the loss of bandmembers. But now their are back with a new guitarist and singer, ready to take the world by the horns.

For music photographers, backpacks are not practical for lens changing during shows: drop it, open it, change your lens, put it back in place.
