20.08.2009 – Campus had the privilege of playing as the first band at this years Pukkelpop festival. They opened the Shelter stage with a full bang. The band made a lot of promo the weeks before and it showed. The crowd gathered early to see the fivesome of Tessenderlo, and they filled the Shelter in no time. A short set but a set that will be remembered as one of their finest.

End Notes
In my opinion the Shelter stage was probably the worst stage off all stages at Pukkelpop.
Not in it’s musical taste but from a photographic point of view.
The stage was high and the frontstage was just too small to get any decent photographs.
Only when the artists came close to the edge the photo opportunity was there.
Later during the festival I heard that they had made the frontstage smaller because of higher ticket sales.
I just hope next year they will make the Shelter’s frontstage a bit bigger.
