Hello, my name is Lode Schildermans.
I have been photographing life for about five years now. Everything I know involving photography I learned from own experience and the guidance of others. I try to capture the world through my eyes. Being twenty-three years old, I decided to dedicate my life to photography 24/7 so here I am!

What does (music)photography mean to you?
“Music needs a good visual perspective, let them show what never has been seen by the eye. Let the viewer feel the atmosphere, let them hear the music by looking at one photograph. Let them wish that they were there at that single moment…”What are some of your dreams / plans for the future?
“Well I remember seeing the movie ‘Almost Famous’ where this 15 year old kid, William Miller is hired by Rolling Stone magazine to tour with, and write about Stillwater, an up and coming rock band. I thought to myself that’s it! Just meet up with a band and go on tour with them. That was my goal! I have been on tour now but it’s still my maingoal!
And maybe the most important thing for the future, that I never get bored seeing the world through my camera.”
